Jacob Steinberg is the author of the Spanish poetry collections Magulladón (2012), Ante ti se arrodilla mi silencio (2013), and Soy la bestia que adoro (2023). In 2014, Scrambler Books published Before You Kneels My Silence, a selection of his works in English. His poems have also been translated to Portuguese and Mandarin.
He has translated works by Cecilia Pavón (A Hotel With My Name, Licorice Candies, Little Joy & Nine Ways to Cry) and Mario Bellatin (Jacob the Mutant) to English and CAConrad's The Book of Frank to Spanish (El libro de Frank), among others.
Since 2020 he is co-director of Triana Editorial, an independent publishing house in Buenos Aires dedicated to contemporary poetry and translation.
He currently lives in Los Angeles.
